QFF management is a ‘year round’ activity for all fruit and vegetable growers.


Further information to support growers in managing for fruit fly can be found here:

Over 1,400 surveillance traps are monitored regularly to record the number of fruit fly found in commercial and urban areas.


These records can help growers understand the changes in pest populations in their area. However is most useful when used together with results from on-farm monitoring.
